As announced previously in our newsletter and on our website, Technical Note TN 800-54 / 500-18 has now been released. The Technical Note concerns the fuel hose attached to the primer valve on certain DG-500M/-500MB and DG-800B powered sailplanes.
The Technical Note requires an inspection of the hose before the next flight or, at the latest, within 30 days. The hose must be replaced within 3 months. If any cracks or other damage are found during the inspection, replacement must be carried out before the next engine operation.
In addition, the maintenance manual pages listed in the Technical Note must be updated.
