Change in the management of DG Aviation GmbH

With effect from 1 September 2026, Sebastian Tschorn has acquired all the shares in DG Aviation GmbH from Holger Back and now heads the company as sole shareholder and managing director.

This significant step marks a further milestone in the successful development of DG Aviation GmbH and was carefully prepared by Holger Back and Sebastian Tschorn over an extended period.

Holger Back played a key role in shaping the company’s development over more than two decades. In recent years, as the principal shareholder and managing director of DG Aviation GmbH, he steered the company towards becoming a diversified and profitable aviation enterprise. Today, DG Aviation ranks among the world’s leading Part-CAO-certified maintenance organisations.

Even after the handover, Holger Back will remain closely associated with the company and will continue to support DG Aviation GmbH in an advisory capacity, drawing on his many years of experience, his extensive specialist knowledge and his strategic vision.

Sebastian Tschorn, who has been a member of the management board since 2024, will consistently pursue the company’s successful strategic direction whilst also providing fresh impulse for its future development. He will be supported in this by an experienced management team, which includes Patrick Korol and Jelmer Wassenaar.
